Being part of LAMA goes beyond a group of comrades riding a motorcycle, it respects a well-defined structure, categories and different ranks, characterized by high respect, commitment, discipline and brotherhood. Each of our chapters in the world is made up of Members (Full Color Member) and prospects (Prospect and Rocket Prospec), who under the statues of our association are aware that they will conduct themselves in a respectful way and always wear their colors with honor.

  • Chapter President
  • The position of president serves as the leader of the organization. It is a very visible and important role that involves chairing the meetings of a LAMA chapter. The president represents the group in relations with the outside world and within the organization, acting as envoy to national and international events and meetings.
  • The President of the Chapter is the Executive Director of the Chapter.
  • He / she will preside over all chapter meetings, enforce order, and ensure strict compliance with the bylaws.
  • Carry out the functions of Chairman of the Board.
  • He / she must sign all official documents that have been authorized by LAMA.
  • Act as spokesperson before offices, companies, organizations and agencies of a public or private nature.
  • He / she must occupy any position that remains vacant and whose term is less than 9 months for the end of the period. An exception to the foregoing will be the positions of President and Vice President. If the vacant position is more than 9 months away of its regular period, elections must be held to choose a successor.
  • He / she shall transmit to her successor all pending matters of the chapter.
  • Chapter Vice-President
  • He / she will preside over the meetings in the absence of the President and will exercise the functions of the President during his absences.
  • He / she must perform all the tasks mentioned above, for the position of President, in the event of his / her absence and will assist you in all matters pertinent to the chapter.
  • He / she will carry out the tasks assigned to him by the President.
  • Chapter Secretary
  • He / she will act as minutes secretary at all official meetings.

  • He / she will receive the registration records and the file of all activities, membership information and chapter business transactions.

  • Chapter Treasurer
  • He / she will have custody of all financial records of the chapter.
  • The Treasurer will receive and take care of all funds belonging to the chapter and he will keep track of all money and expenses.
  • He / she must deposit all funds belonging to the chapter in the account bank in the name of the chapter.
  • A minimum of (3) signatures must be registered in the bank account. Withdrawals from Chapter account funds will be made by check with two (2) of the signatures authorized, prior approval of the Board of Directors.
  • The Treasurer will present a monthly treasury report to the chapter.
  • He / she must keep a detailed record of all receipts and expenses.
  • She will carry out the tasks assigned by the President.

  • Chapter Business Manager(Bm)
  • He / she must make purchases as directed by the President (i.e. products, services and materials for the chapter)
  • Place flyers and / or posters at chapter events (M / C, dealerships, stores, etc.)
  • Receive monthly utility bills, rent and other related bills and Determine what you pay accordingly.
  • Present a monthly report of the operations to the chapter.
  • Gather information about upcoming events and coordinate the events.

  • Chapter Mototurismo (Mto)
  • Create and maintain adequate documentation of the participation of the members of the chapter on events and rides and mileage log.
  • The mileage must be taken at the beginning of the membership and all the 31 of December of each year successively.
  • Responsible for the registration of members to the events of the Chapter
  • Send registration sheets to the National and International Secretaries and to the National and International Commissioner of Motorcycle Tourism of each country respectively, to no later than seven (7) days after the events.

  • Will be responsible for collecting all patches and membership cards in cases termination of the same by any member.

  • He will perform additional duties as required by the Chapter President.
  • Board of directors
  • The Board of Directors of the Chapter will meet at least once a month. Other Meetings will be called at the request of three (3) members of the board. The quorum of four (4) members, one of whom must be the president, will be necessary for the decision making The President may vote by proxy at any meeting.
  • The Board of Directors will have an e-mail address and a telephone number.
  • The Board of Directors will meet to discuss problems and matters that are not they can be resolved by members in general.

  • Maintain an open attitude to communication with officers and members.
  • The Board of Directors will refrain from discussing publicly or with members of another chapter, questions relating to a particular member or situation, which are not it affects the chapter as a whole. All records, documents and discussions will be confidential.
  • The Board will accept all complaints from members by written communication. All pertinent information must accompany said communication. Before i know files a complaint, the member shall go through the appropriate chain of command to resolve the situation.
